The butterfly effect
Idag sitter jag i mitt gamla skolbibliotek i ett försök att vara en effektiv student och få mycket skrivit på min uppgift. I boken jag läser om globalisering så pratar författaren om hur små förändringar kan leda till storartade effekter. En liten ändring i inledningen av ett projekt kan leda till stora konsekvenser i slut produkten. Som exempel använder han den här gamla engelska ramsan:
For want of a nail, the shoe was lost;
for want of the shoe, the horse was lost;
for want of the horse, the rider was lost;
for want of the rider, the battle was lost;
for want of the battle the kingdom was lost;
And all from the want of a horseshoe nail.
