The season of goodbyes

And so it has begun, the season of goodbyes. As most of you know by now I am moving from Cyprus to London this coming summer. I am beyond excited for the next step in my life. To get married and to start a life together with the man that is my kind of wonderful. To do life with him will be an adventure. I am looking forward to new challenges and new beginnings. But before all of that happens, comes the season of goodbyes. Because before I start again in a new place I have to say goodbye to the place that I call home. I will have to say a lot of see you laters to wonderful friends. I will have to decide what things to keep and what things to leave behind. I will have to hand over my job to new people. I will have to say goodbye to the sea and the sun. I will have to say goodbye to the wonderful women and children I meet through my work and trust them into God's hands, as always. Sometimes life just takes you by surprise. Gives you a hand to hold when you least expect it. Takes your breath away. Make your eyes tear up, by pure joy.  Moments that changes everything. Moments that makes you see most things in a different light.  And all you can do, is to smile and be grateful.

Språkförvirring

Efter att Petra varit på mig om mitt uppehåll i bloggandet så får jag väl ta och blogga lite nu då. Men jag har faktiskt varit bortrest och så det så. ;-) Som jag nämnde i mitt tidigare inlägg så var jag ju och hälsade på min yngsta syster i helgen nere i Skåne. Det var verkligen superkul! Hade fullt upp och blev ordentligt trött, men det var skönt. Cykelhajken med de tre milen som jag oroade mig för var faktiskt kul och även om jag fick mjöksyra och ont i rumpan så gick cyklingen riktigt bra. Tänk vilken skillnad underlaget gör, asfvallt (hur stavas det) är så mycket mer nice än grus. På söndagen blev det ju en snabbvisit till Malmö där jag träffade Ellen. Hann se hennes lägenhet, fika i folkets park och hinna updatera oss lite innan jag åkte igen. Konstigt att träffa henne i SVerige, men väldigt trevligt. Resten av helgen var som sagt också väldigt lyckad, med ett besök hos mina släktingar i Osby. Verkligen kul att träffa dem! Oj måste bara nämna en rolig sak som hände på vägen ...
